This evening I am doing a presentation on Rails and web services at the Denver Rails user group. The talk will be a high-level view of how to access web services from Rails. I'll be covering the basics of REST, SOAP / WSDL, and XML-RPC. Web services are such a complex topic that I decided to cover only the client side this time. Hopefully in the future I can cover how to create web services with Rails, including how to make use of ActiveResource.
